Every day people are getting more and more into each others business. Those that were running things in this country are no longer running anything. Even the people in charge of the larger companies are starting to feel the squeeze. People are asking to see CEO’s paychecks and know how much they are taking home. Companies are now being held accountable for how much they are donating. It is getting harder and harder for anyone to do anything without someone else questioning why they are doing it. We now live in a society of constant babysitting where everyone thinks that everyone else should be assessed by a independent financial advisor to qualify for any job.

Many people have taken it upon themselves to babysit the rest of us. Make sure they know how much money we are taking, how much money we are giving to our churches, and even how much money we are spending on our children. We all just need to mind our own business and leave one another alone. How much the family of the pastor at the church is making is no one elses business. There are people in many churches that are now fighting to see exactly how much the entire family makes so that the pastor can get paid less if the significant other is making a lot. This is not the way that this country is supposed to work. We are all supposed to be paid for the time we put in.

There is an agreed upon amount that is set forth for us to be paid between the employer and the employee. If people would keep up with their own affairs and stay out of other people’s this country would run much smoother. We would be able to work together to make it a better place rather than trying to hide our business from our neighbors. We need to remember that we are accountable for our own finances, not everyone elses.

According to recent research findings, powerful people tend to lie better than others. Having clout and influence provides a cushion which considerably reduces the tension that lying can produce. So, the ability to be deceptive and dupe people seems to be related to whether the concerned person occupies a position of power.

High profile people like politicians, athletes and top businessmen, occupying very influential positions have always been involved in activities that necessitated lying, as opposed to more honest professions, such as locum doctor jobs. In fact the entire process of climbing the ladder of success is held to be very difficult to accomplish without resorting to underhand tactics. This old time aphorism merely seems to have been confirmed by this new piece of research.

The study “People with power are better liars” was conducted by
<place w:st="on">
<placename w:st="on">Columbia</placename>
<placename w:st="on">Business</placename>
<placetype w:st="on">School</placetype></place>. The research subjects were divided into two classes: employees and bosses. The bosses were given a large office and a lot of power, including the ability to give salaries to the employees. Half of the subjects were urged to take a $100 bill without adequate authorization. If the participants managed to convince the interviewer that they had not stolen it, they would be allowed to keep it. The other subjects who were not involved in the act of pilfering were questioned as well.

The researchers found the subjects who had been assigned the role of the bosses displayed lesser involuntary signs of stress and duplicity. These signs included incessant shoulder shrugs, rapid speech, increased amount of cortisol in saliva, emotional distress and cognitive impairment. As a result, liars who had power were hard to differentiate from the subjects who were telling the truth. On the other hand, the liars who had been assigned the role of employees were not able to hide their dishonesty as well.

Consequently, powerful individuals seem to be better prepared to lie, both physiologically and psychologically. This very fact could be responsible for the birth of the vicious circle wherein the better liars just keep on lying.

Green power and fuel management nowadays has become one of the most discussed topic in the politics of resource extraction and electricity production. People are getting more and more familiar with the advantages of the new power producers and the alternatives of different products like oil and gas. This is the reason why, by developing massive projects, many American and European programs and specialists are aiming to successfully convince people and companies to start using more and more renewable and alternative energy sources.

It has been proven that if 1/3 of the Sahara desert is covered with solar panels, this would be enough to satisfy the electricity comsumers’ need throughout the world. This would undoubtedly requite an enormous investment rate by governmental, public and private organizations, significant amount of people to conduct the construction works and labor to maintain and produce the electricity. However, it is not necessary for the whole project to take place at once, to be exactly placed in Sahara and to be built in exactly in Sahara. There are hundreds of options to spread this world solar power plant throughout the whole planet, to use the labor of each country and to supply successfully resources and building materials faster and more efficiently.

Some German Companies have already started a project in the Sahara desert in order to obtain information about the production rates and to conduct investigation about the efficiency of the project. If proved to be a reasonable and a profitable, this solar project might be the key to saving the planet’s ozone layer, reducing the pollution throughout the whole world and additionally to produce many working places for new and specialized workers.

The project discussed above is an alternative -one of the many to save Earth’s climate and nature, a chance for the people to start consuming clean and renewable energy that would not interfere with our planet’s and our own well being.

Certainly, more power means more control over the resources of that power. This has become a leading problem of the society of the modern world -being controlled under secret political mechanisms, people do not see what has become obvious -that the steps nations are making forward take the world two steps backwards.

To claim that is certainly a risk but what a risk is there for people seeking the truth?? In 1945 the World War II was over, leaving the Soviet Union under the control of Communism which lasted for more than 40 years -years spent in political brainwashing, years spent in lies and fear from the Party. The main moving force of the reds were the public. This was the source of the communists'political power. In order to preserve and expand its political ideas, the Party in the Soviet Union legalized itself as the only lawful political force which theoretically annihilated the democratic opposition. Behind the scene and apart from the eyes of the public, many young and intelligent people, scholars, scientists and people of art were killed because they did not obey the regime. Thus the Reds stroke down the only movement that could possible oppose them -the intelligence. It took them years till they restore that human resource -young students were taken away from their homes and brainwashed to serve the Party, educated in the foundations of communism and extreme socialism as the brightest of all political ideas.

Thus the Red Party managed to rule over 1/3 of the world for almost 50 years -by hiding the unlawful and the morally wrong behavior of its member and by brainwashing the new and the older generations. It maintained its political power, developing a monopoly over the markets -the state was the ultimate owner of all property, the government merged with the executive and the legislative powers in the state.

This political power brought the ex Soviet countries years of blindness, years of secrets and slowed development, soaking them with corruption and unlawfulness. This is to serve of an example of future generations not to forget that when they entrust political power to a figure or a party, they entrust the whole of the nation to that figure or party and the future lies in their hands -the manipulated public becomes the judge of those who the public itself elected.

All politicians, no matter how respected or how dedicated they are to what they believe in, are all ultimately in it for the same thing - power and influence. Achieving popularity and maintaining it in the world of politics is an incredibly complex equation. It basically involves ’achieving’votes and ’securing’them. These two principles require completely different methods of calculation for politicians and their political advisors. Of course, securing votes for the long term is much harder than achieving them.

When campaigning for a constituency or for the position of a mayor or a governor, all politicians have to promote a number of proposals and promises in order to attract widespread attention. There is a special trick in politics which involves ’doing a favour’for your voters without giving off the impression that such proposals are just another attempt to achieve popularity. It is about engaging and communicating with people in a way that convinces them you are going to give them a ’good deal’, that if you get elected your policies will have a positive impact on their lives.

It is the essential skill that all politicians must master if they are to assure potential voters that they are ’in it for the people’. Politicians have to persuade people that they will serve them, that they are not going to compromise their own values in order to elevate their political status or to appease independent financial advisers uk, and that they will stand by their original promises. Such a situation is, unfortunately, rare if not extinct in politics these days. Politicians have a job to promote their own individual campaign and that of their respective political party. This often means making unrealistic promises that such politicians know can never realistically be met. The key, however, is to make these promises or propositions sound realistic in a way that fools people into believing them. This is probably the biggest problem facing politics in the modern world, as political campaigns become increasingly commercialised and core ideas are significantly undermined.

Everyone who pays attention to world news have one basic question on their mind. Are the Muslims looking to rule the world? They seem to be on a concerted effort to conquer nations by force or through shear presence in certain countries. The average Muslim may not be looking for world dominance, but rather the Muslim extremists. It is impossible to tell if every Muslim in the world wants to one day rule it. As a result, this is written in response to those Muslims who express their desire to rule the world.

The global powers today, primarily the US and their allies, have successfully ruled the world for fifty years. They impose their values and their politics on other civilisations. In fact there is very little different between the American empire and the events that made up the Crusades. Those that feel that the US and their allies are liberating Iraq are quite susceptible to propaganda, for by definition, the Americans are occupying another free nation.

Some Muslims have expressed a desire to take over the world. They don’t want world domination in the Lex Luthor, mad scientist sort of way. Their aim is to rule the world in order to free us from sin and evil. Most in the Western world laugh at such claims. “How can we be the sinners? We’re not hiding weapons of mass destruction! We’re not trying to create a nuclear state!” No, you’re not. You have already succeeded in that mission through thoughtful manipulation and equity release schemes.

The difference between the Muslims’ desire to take over the world and the Americans (et al) desire to rule is simple: the Muslims tell us what they want to do and how to do it; the US and co don’t; they’d prefer to lie to us and occupy a nation under false pretences, and even after those claims were proven to be bogus, their occupation continues.

Although I have no affiliation with any Muslim state or Islam in general, I see no villainous motive behind their desire to rule the world. In fact, it is a welcome change for a group of people who have constantly been under attack to want to make a better world.

<p align="left"style="TEXT-ALIGN: left; MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">Foreign exchange rates are affected in many ways, some beneficial and some not. Before investing in foreign currencies, it is important to be aware of how the market can fluctuate, which could mean the difference between a successful investment, and bottoming out. Here are the three key factors that affect foreign exchange rates:

<p align="left"style="TEXT-ALIGN: left; TEXT-INDENT: -0.25in; MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt 38pt; mso-para-margin-left: 0gd; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1">1. Interest rates. Investors are likely to put their money in a currency that provides high interest rates, and will tend to pull out of a currency once this high interest rate drops. You can see this kind of action in home equity release. Since the value of a currency is largely dependent on foreign investments, the more money invested in a currency will in turn make its rates increase. Even a high valued currency will lose its power once a majority of its investors pull out.

<p align="left"style="TEXT-ALIGN: left; TEXT-INDENT: -0.25in; MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt 38pt; mso-para-margin-left: 0gd; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1">2. Foreign relations policy. Depending on how much one nation trades with another will greatly affect the value of one currency against another. A nation will earn more if their imports are less than their exports. All the highest currency rates in the world are owned by those nations that have a high export to import ratio.

<p align="left"style="TEXT-ALIGN: left; TEXT-INDENT: -0.25in; MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt 38pt; mso-para-margin-left: 0gd; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1">3. Inflation. As pointed out in 1), a country’s currency rate and value are largely influenced by foreign investment. When a nation has a rate of inflation, investors will indeed shy away from such a currency, which will directly affect its value. Conversely, if the rate of inflation is comparatively low, then investors will retain their currency, which will raise its exchange rate and value.

<p align="left"style="TEXT-ALIGN: left; MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">Before investing in a currency, whether as a means to sustain a living or if you are planning a vacation within the next year, it is imperative that you become aware of the nation’s foreign policy, interest rates, and their rate of inflation.

The John Terry story is the latest in a series of scandals that have dominated the British tabloids and enthralled and horrified the nation in equal measure. When Vanessa Perroncel found herself the vilified figure at the centre of the media storm there was only one man that she could turn to: Max Clifford.

Max Clifford is a deeply controversial figure but there can be little doubt that as a man who decides what goes into newspapers and what stays out of newspapers, he is one of the most powerful men in British society today.

Clifford is the publicist supreme, the man who had perfected the art of ’spin’ whilst Alastair Campbell was still writing for soft porn magazines. He is a deeply driven, principled man full of contradictions: he is both a fire fighter, expert at protecting his clients and stopping stories making it into the public domain, and arsonist in chief ready to expose celebrity indiscretions when he sees fit.

Max was born in 1943 into a very poor background. Leaving school with no qualifications, his quick wit and mastery with words found him a job as a journalist at the age of 15. From there he became a publicist for EMI and by the age of 27 had founded his own PR company, Max Clifford Associates.

Even at this tender age his client list was hugely impressive counting Frank Sinatra, Marvin Gaye, Muhammad Ali and Marlon Brando among his clients.

Clifford’s particular brand of media manipulation first hit the heights in 1986 when he created spectacular publicity for his client, the comedian Freddie Starr. Clifford spun the fabricated story that Starr had eaten the pet of a young woman called Lea La Salle. The ensuing headline “Freddie Starr Ate My Hamster"made the front page of The Sun and has now passed into media legend.

Clifford’s principles took centre stage in the Nineties when the left-leaning Clifford blamed the Conservative government of John Major for the lack of treatment afforded to his daughter as she fought against juvenile arthritis. He vowed to bring down the Tory government and his succession of scandals against Conservative ministers helped to create the climate of sleaze that saw them lose power to Tony Blair’s Labour Party.

Whilst his work has made him a very wealthy man, Clifford has often worked for free to protect ordinary members of the public that he believes have been harshly treated by the media or corporate giants. A woman who had been a contestant on television’s ’The Weakest Link’ and had been subsequently exposed as a prostitute found an unlikely ally in Clifford who worked for free on a positive media campaign for her, claiming that he had felt sorry for her.

Clifford’s work remains controversial, the public perception is that he is creating stories rather than reporting them. Whilst he now says that most of his work involves burying stories rather than encouraging scandal, the great and good are still in fear of the man who can end their careers with one flourish of his pen or one impromptu press conference. From impoverished school boy to media manipulator-in-chief and political kingmaker, it is unlikely that we will ever see the likes of Max Clifford again.

I feel that I should update you on a new website that I have found that is really great called enigin advice. It is about the power of climate change in big businesses today, all of you guys who read this blog may find it quite interesting!

In “The West"we enjoy the benefit of living in democracies - well for the most part and of course one person’s democracy is another’s dictatorship. Overall though we tend to believe that democracy is the way forward for the world as a whole and that those poor people who have the misfortune to live in undemocratic states should be helped to overturn their masters and join us in our world of freedom and liberty.

But should we question whether our western ways really are right for the world and indeed whether some of the peoples of the world are ready for democracy?

We only have to look at Africa to see where “democracy"has gone frightfully wrong! Mugabe would describe himself - at last to the outside world - as a democratically elected leader. Most right thinking people in the west would have a slight bone of contention with that! Sadly many african countries, where democracy has been imposed by the ever so humble former colonial powers are now struggling with their new found freedoms. The Presidents and Prime Ministers have made themselves Creosus rich while the people suffer. This model though has history.

In the seventeenth century England became a democracy. Charles the First was deposed and eventually beheaded and parliament began to rule. However it wasn’t long before the new political leaders in England were behaving in exactly the same way as the modern day leaders of the new african democracies. The seventeenth century members of parliament voted themselves huge financial rewards and attempted to lengthen their own terms of office. It was only Oliver Cromwell who stopped it and how did he do that? Well basically by making himself dictator!

If we have learned one thing from history it is that there are people who want power and wealth and will do anything to get it. For them living a “good"life is not important. They want to “make their mark"by fair means or foul. The west is never more than a few steps away from this either.

We should all remember the “Power Corrupts”.

You can see this very fact in all this talk about the enigin scam, a few people with misplaced power feel it is thier personal right to jugde others. I have to say that I really like Enigin, and am a little bit upset at all the bad press they are getting right now.

Politicians have become cut off from the real world, remote from everyday truths: reality seems variant upon the words of spin doctors so that it becomes impossible to know what is truth and what is fiction. The ongoing Chilcot enquiry into the Iraq War however continues to show what happens when the power of spin comes into conflict with the brutal truth of war.

When Britain went to war in Iraq in 2003, in support of their United States allies, they were doing so in opposition to both international disquiet and vehement protests from the public. Faced with this public outrage the leading politicians of the day, in particular Labour Prime Minister Tony Blair, needed to show that a declaration of war was unavoidable if Britain was to remain safe from a real and imminent threat from Iraq. The way that Blair and his power brokers did this has become increasingly controversial and is now being tested in front of a public tribunal that could destroy the reputation of both Blair and the current PM, Gordon Brown.

In the months leading up to the war it seemed to many that Blair was being led to an inevitability of conflict by his close friend, the American President George W Bush. People on both sides of the political divide were growing wary at Blair’s increasingly jingoistic stance and it seemed that he was waiting for a chance, any chance, to create a scenario where conflict could not be avoided.

In September 2002 Tony Blair released the now infamous statement that gave the green light to war: Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction that could be launched against the United Kingdom within 45 minutes.

This report provoked a media frenzy and popular opinion turned in favour of war. As the war progressed and these ’weapons of mass destruction’ remained illusive the talk turned to the need for ’regime change’ within Iraq. Seven years later, the regime change has happened and Sadam lies dead along with thousands of soldiers and civilians. Tensions in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Syria are still at fever pitch and there is the daily threat of suicide bombings and other terrorist atrocities. There is no end in sight to the presence of Western troops in the Middle East.

It is against this backdrop that the Chilcott enquiry is attempting to discern the truth behind the reason to go to war. The evidence itself shows that there were no weapons of mass destruction, that there was no 45-minute threat and that the invasion of Iraq was illegal under international law and yet a succession of political heavyweights have given evidence in unrepentant fashion, sticking firmly with discredited spin and aiming to provide obfuscation rather than clarity.

The truth of the matter seems to me to lie in the old adage that ’power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely’. Tony Blair was a popular and successful Prime Minister but he did not have the benchmark event in his Premiership that would make his mark on history. It may be that he was almost jealous of the role that Margaret Thatcher had played in winning the Falkland’s War for Britain. Blair wanted a Falklands of his own and as his power grew so did his ego. With George Bush jr fired by a desire to surpass the achievements of his father it was inevitable that these two power hungry politicians would join forces at some point.

Less than a decade after the dreadful war in Iraq, events are coming back to haunt Blair and it must be assumed that Bush too will eventually have to face judgement on his role in a war that saw countless lives lost for no purpose than to illustrate the deadly power of political spin.

Before I go, I am aiming to sort out something for my mother for her Birthday. When I was talking with her the other day she said that she would like a new batch of running accessories . Anyone know of a reliable place to get them?
